– President & CEO –
Scott Greene is well known in the I.T. community for his skilled background in I.T. and Telecom engineering, design, and security. He has worked with well-known companies such as Trend Micro, IBM Global Security, and Secure Works – implementing security solutions for companies throughout the United States. Holding a degree in engineering, Scott has over twenty years of IT network design and support experience. In 2001, he obtained one of the first public certifications for WiFi engineering, design, and security. In 2002, he was 1 of only 1,600 within the United States to earn combined top-level certifications within I.T. network engineering and security. In the mid 2000’s, Scott worked with Cisco Systems to beta deploy the Cisco ASA firewall, the replacement for the Cisco PIX firewall, in a live production environment.
Scott Greene has worked with industry leading technology companies – including Perot Systems, Dell Healthcare Services, MCI WorldCom (now Verizon), and Cisco Systems. With a strong application development background, Scott is fluent in languages such as HTML, AJAX, VB, VB.net, C++, C Sharp, Perl, Ruby Rails, and Java. He started programming applications in 1996. Scott has a strong belief that in order to understand networking and security, you must have knowledge of how applications use the network and security environments. Scott relentlessly monitors leading Internet and technology companies to stay abreast of the everchanging landscape. He enjoys saying “there is nothing on the market today I haven’t already seen or touched when it comes to networking and security”. Scott’s approach to network design and security is to never move away from the K.I.S.S. approach (Keep It Simple Stupid).
